- Expansion of the Glendale campus, near Phoenix, Arizona
- Project consists of a seven-story, 293,000 square foot bed tower south of the emergency department, a 94,000 square foot, three-story new lobby building north of the existing hospital main lobby
- Areas of focus include pediatrics, high-risk obstetrics and neonatology, cardiology and cardiac surgery, vascular services, oncology, general surgery, neurosciences and neurosurgery
- With the expansion, Banner Thunderbird will have 597 acute care beds and a new 64 bed emergency department
