Cherokee Catoosa Hard Rock Casino Resort & Expansion – Tulsa, Oklahoma

The $155 million dollar expansion will add a 19-story, 200 new hotel room tower to the existing Cherokee Catoosa Casino, expanding its convention and tourism business. The expansion will add 400,000 square feet, with 30,000 new square feet of convention space and an additional 75,000 square feet of other meeting areas. With  the Cherokee Catoosa Casino aims to be Oklahoma’s first resort destination with a new 2,500-seat theater and a 7,500 square foot Toby Keith’s restaurant and 14,000 square foot ballroom addition. The expansion will add a fine dining facility as well as a buffet and three additional eateries. 750 new electronic games in an additional 23,000 square feet will be added as well as many poker tables. The facility will also offer guests the convenience of a 507,000 square foot parking garage.

CG also designed the original resort development that included a seven-story, 150-room hotel, a casino for 1,750 slot machines, and 24 gaming tables, a conference center and an 18-hole golf course. The project also includes a restaurant. The theme expresses the heritage of the Cherokee Tribe of Oklahoma. The hotel overlooks one of the beautiful lakes of the golf course. This resort is located adjacent to Tulsa on Interstate 44 in Oklahoma.
