[dropcap style=”font-size: 60px; color: #494949;”]C[/dropcap]hris has been with CG since 1993 and has served in his current role as President/CEO and Managing Partner since 2002. Chris brings over 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry to the position. While spending most of his time directing day to day operations for CG, Chris also travels throughout the west and southwestern United States marketing the firms services, building client relationships and overseeing projects. He takes pride in building long lasting relationships and focusing on what it takes to make our clients projects successful.
A native of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University. He started his education at the University of Maryland, European Division, while he was serving in the United States Army. During his time in the military, Chris served in the 1st Infantry Division, completing tours in Kansas, Belgium, Holland, and Germany, with a final tour in Morocco, Northern Africa.

George has over 20 years experience in the industry and provides project management and engineering design services from conceptual design through construction documents and construction administration.
Mr. Bradley has worked on numerous projects, ranging from small structural renovations to multimillion dollar high profile, award winning structures. Notable projects include, the National Hispanic Cultural Center, University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital and Atrisco Heritage Academy.

He has been the design manager on over 5 design formal RFP design projects for DOE/NNSA and for Native American tribes. His engineering project experience includes military installations, research laboratories, computer processing centers, dormitories, private housing, administrative buildings, office & retail facilities, schools, hospitals and sports arenas.
More recently, Mr. Grieves is heading up our investigative team, providing engineering analysis, field observations, investigative reports on litigation and insurance claim cases. Dave also carries a special expertise in historic renovations.

Chris has a wide variety of project experience as a structural engineer, designer and project manager. As a Principal and Team Leader, Chris is responsible for managing structural design for one of CG’s largest architectural client teams.
Chris’ portfolio includes an eclectic list of projects utilizing a variety of delivery methods including design-build, as well as traditional design-bid-build processes. Notable projects include the Anderson – Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum, V. Sue Cleveland High School and the University of New Mexico Architecture & Planning building.

Mr. Vasquez’s focus has been primarily on structural engineering of fast track design-build projects and heads our primary design-build team. His ability to manage client risk while providing under the pressure cooker of large scale, fast track projects has been key to Steven’s success.
Steven’s project portfolio is extensive, with projects throughout the southwest and includes many high profile healthcare facilities, casinos, resorts and business complexes. Steven’s repeat clients, both architects and contractor, are some of the largest, and most respected in their fields.
Steven has also been instrumental in launching our Special Inspection and Structural Detailing teams.

In addition to structural projects, the leadership associated with Daylene’s involvement in the Quality Assurance Program and Standards Task Force has been instrumental in the quality of our product and in turn the reduction of our clients’ risk during construction.

Nathan has been with Chavez- Grieves Consulting Engineers, Inc. since 2006 and became an Associate Partner in 2014. Nathan’s structural experience includes hospital expansion projects, office buildings, casinos, military installations, and educational facilities.
Nathan has earned both P.E. and S.E designations, his attention to detail and organized calculations have proven instrumental to the effective and efficient delivery of fast-paced design–build projects. This same design approach also helps keep traditional design-bid-build projects on time and within budget.

Sandy has been with the firm for over 14 years and became an Associate Partner in 2014. During his time with the firm he has engineered projects throughout the southwestern United States that range from single family residential wood framed buildings to large multiple story steel framed buildings. Sandy has experience in both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery systems. His Design-Build experience includes projects utilizing Interoperability (i.e. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)). His Design-Build engineering experience coupled with his construction experience gives Sandy a unique understanding of producing structural designs that not only are constructable but also economical.
Formerly, Sandy was the founder of Sweetland Engineering Group, and was responsible for technical operations, financial management and business development. Sandy’s diversified experience includes over seven years in the construction industry and nine years in the engineering consulting business.
