Project Management
Chavez-Grieves’ prime experience includes managing the overall design effort for numerous clients, including Sandia National Laboratories, the State of New Mexico, the City of Albuquerque, General Mills, Intel Corporation, Pueblo of Isleta, and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Our clients trust that we have the experience and knowledge to manage their more technical efforts while keeping stewardship of scope, aesthetics, cost, schedule and quality.
Two examples of the firm's project management experience include the National Security Sciences Building at Los Alamos National Labs and the current Engineering and Architectural (EA) "Partnering" agreement with Sandia National Laboratories. Projects in the Sandia $3 million EA agreement include new building construction, building modifications, infrastructure upgrades, utility modifications/replacement, and site planning. Chavez-Grieves is just one of thirteen Sandia National Laboratories exclusive "Partners" among more than 600 vendors.
Our professional resources consist of six team leaders, special subject matter experts, principals and a large staff of experienced structural engineers and designers. Our entire staff is multi-disciplined and has extensive experience in managing large, complex projects.
Our most successful project management attribute over the past decade has been our ability to multi-task the design process while providing real time assessment to scope, cost and schedule. The life of a project from conception through construction documents is an extremely complex and dynamic process. When the added challenges of a fast-track schedule and a technically complex project are included, Chavez-Grieves has the staff and specific skill set to mitigate our clients risk, and increase the opportunity to have a more successful project. For these reasons, Chavez-Grieves is “The Engineering Firm of Choice.” |
